Are you talking about your Home Screen or your Lock Screen?

The Home Screen does not have day/date on it, unless you're talking about the calendar app icon.. which has that info.

If this is what you mean, then you'll need to get the calendar app back on to your Home Screen. If you accidentally removed it, you can add it back from the App Library.

If you had a widget on your Home Screen that displayed the date/time, you may have to add it back if it's gone missing.

If you are referring to the day/date that is on the Lock Screen by default.. right above the time.. then maybe you accidentally removed that widget? Try adding it back..
