Safari tabs disappearing

This morning I opened up my safari and all of my tabs have completely disappeared. I tried to long press the + button to see recently closed tabs but there are only tabs that I had closed before. If anyone knows how to fix this and get my tabs back please let me know, thanks.

Greetings perezgerardo,

Being able to recover closed tabs is important. Checking your recently closed tabs is a great step and we're glad you had the chance to walk through those steps. In addition to those steps, have you checked to see if Private Browsing is on or off? The reason we ask is because the tabs that show when Private Browsing is on are different than what appears when this setting is disabled. You can find the steps turning on and off Private Browsing below. You can also find these steps outlined in the following article.

How to turn on Private Browsing
  1. "Open Safari on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Tabs button .
  3. Tap [number] Tabs or Start Page  to show the Tab Groups list.
  4. Tap Private , then tap Done."

How to turn off Private Browsing
  1. "Open Safari on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Tabs button .
  3. Tap Private  to show the Tab Groups list.
  4. Tap [number] Tabs , then tap Done."
