How to disable the built-in player of the iPhone on sites in Safari?

It seems you're trying to stop videos from playing on Safari and we want to help.

While it isn't possible to remove the video player itself, you can stop many video previews from playing if you add an accessibility rule.

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Per-App Settings.
2. Tap "Add App" > Safari
3. Choose Safari from the Per-App Settings
4. Set the option Auto-Play Video Previews to Off.
