A 2011, iPad 2nd gen is 11-1/2-years old.
It is simply too old.
To expedite quick and speedy customer service, most Apple Store locations will only do device replacement/swap outs for a battery replacement.in lieu of an actual teardown amd battery replacement in iPads.
It is very doubtful Apple will have 8 to 12-year old device replacements on hand to service these very old iPad models.
