If the computer is shutdown there is will probably no Electrical Power to both the computer and TM Backups drive - right ?
What is the user attempting to achieve by this ?
If TM Backup is set to make backups on an automatic schedule while this not defeat that purpose ?
Time Machine sounds excellent and I want to start using it. Up to now I have done manual back ups and shut down my computer every night.
