iCloud Backup: Not Working

Hey,


New Apple user here. Decided to make the switch. iCould backed up successfully when I first setup my iPhone. Have received backup errors the three weeks since saying "there is not enough iCloud storage available" but I use 289MB of the 5GB.


Any suggestions?

Follow the troubleshooting steps here. If you can't back up to iCloud - Apple Support

Thanks, found the solution: followed the steps in the link; the page that calculates the next backup size listed an app containing 18GB of music I transferred to the phone and the an option to deselect the app on iCloud backup wasn't shown in other menus. Backup worked successfully after deselecting the app. Thanks
