How can I reset Apple Watch and pair with new ID without having current sign in info?

I don’t have sign in info to turn off activation code so someone else can use it. I see that I can’t just erase or reset it, so what do I do from here?

How can I reset and pair with a new device/with new ID without having current sign in info? I was given a watch without it being unpaired and now I’m stuck. I can’t turn off activation lock or unpair without signing in and I don’t know that info so what do I do now?
