iPhone voice dictation cuts off too fast.

iPhone voice dictation cuts off too fast. I am setting up my new iPhone 13 and using the voice dictation for the first time. I am finding the same problem that the previous user had with the voice dictation cutting out too fast when I dictate text messages. Right now it’s working fine on this format, and I tried everything that was suggested for the previous discussion, but it did not resolve my problem with dictating text messages. My old iPhone 7 allowed me to dictate a complete message (several sentences… 4 to 7 sentences) before it would stop and I would have to tap it again. This is a very big issue for me as I have MS and my fingers literally cannot type on the keyboard without an enormous struggle. That last conversation regarding this issue was in 2020 and I did not see any suggestions that really resolved the problem for many, many users that said they had the same problem. Has anyone figured out a way to resolve this that has an already been suggested? My husband has an iPhone 11 and he has the same problem with his dictation feature. Both of us are lucky if we get four words out before it stops typing from voice and we have to tap the dictate icon again.

I'm know you mean well, but did you not read in my post I had written then I had an iPhone 7 with no issues in dictation? I had that phone for about the last five years, and I have been using iPhones since they came out. I would consider myself a fairly advanced user as I was in IT for an engineering company for 10 years. Trust me… it's the phone, not me. I also mentioned that my husband's iPhone 11 has the same problem. I am resurrecting a post about this from 2020 which had 125 other users with the same problem. Apparently it occurred after an update, although the original poster never said which update. To illustrate how bad this problem is, once I tap the little microphone icon and begin to speak, it LITERALLY stays on for three seconds before it stops accepting dictation. I can only hope that it will "learn" my voice patterns and perhaps it is only because it is brand new out of the box, and I just need to use it more, but right now it is extraordinarily frustrating. I am dictating to this post right now with no issues. Very easy to use. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂.
