Mac OS Ventura update

I have Catalina installed, downloaded the Ventura upgrade just fine, however when installing it says I do not have an internet connection. All other browsers and internet connected apps work fine. I've rebooted, re downloaded, and now a t a loss for what to do. Any ideas?

Two Apple Tech support calls latter. Great help that both resolved as a hardware issue.

it’s definitely not a hardware issue as in a hardware failure. It is a hardware issue as in incompatibility with macOS Ventura. For some reason it cannot see the modem is connected to a router via WiFi.

I plan to test my theory with a Ethernet connection to see if that is the case.

The macOS is seeing my iCloud Drive as being almost full too. It’s 2 TB and it has 1.2 TB available according to the iCloud website when I login and check it. My iOS 16 iPhone function normally with iCloud.

Created an install Monterey disk and installed it after reformatting my MacBook Pro HD. So, far everything is back to normal. That includes all of the weird glitches with iCloud, the WiFi connection and the router seeing the MacBook and the MacBook not seeing the router.

Stoked it is not a physical hardware issue.

This macOS Ventura 13.0 update is a BAD APPLE!
