Try connecting your iPhone to electrical power and ensure that it is charge more than 50%. Ensure that it is connected to a Wi-Fi Network.

It above 50% and connected to power but I’m using cellular data, it won’t work without Wi-Fi??

No it will not update over a cellular network. Your iPhone X must be connected to a Wi-Fi Network to download and install the iOS update.
