Mail app, Ventura macOS - swipe to flag email

Is there any way I can swipe to flag an email, or do I have to press the Flag in the Mail Toolbar?

1 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue and / or Add a Feature

No flags in inbox? Just got a new M2 Air, running Ventura. In Mail, a feature I rely on heavily seems to have been changed. Now, when a message is flagged, instead of showing up next to the message in the inbox as it always has, it only shows up in the header of the email, so one has to actually open the email to see it. Oh, there is the flagged feature in the sidebar, but that's all but useless to me. Anybody know how to get the flags to show where the blue "unread" dot is in the inbox? Sure hope so; this is really throwing a screw in my system. Thanks!

Apple mail app wit ha mind of its own So my mail app is set up for a number of accounts google etc. Now I like to flag important emails but my Mac seems to flag emails I usually delete, it just seems to randomly add flags to random emails! Any idea what I might be doing wrong. Thanks

AFAIK and stand to recorrected - that feature does exist in iOS for iDevices

On an old High Sierra right now so can not confirm at this moment

Thanks for the reply. I was just hoping Apple would add the same function on MacBooks, as they have on iOS 16 on iPhone where you can swipe and then flag an email.
