Computer keeps waking up after sleep is selected I want my computer to sleep but after I go to the apple logo and click on sleep in about 5mins there is a click sound and the computer just wakes up again. I did so much research but couldn't find any information why this would be doing this. Any suggestions?

MacBook making clicking noise Hello! Recently my macOS Monterey has been making periodic clicking noises while in Sleep mode (about every 5-10 minutes). When it does this, the screen will light up, showing the mouse, and it will make a clicking noise for about 30 seconds. Then the noise will stop and the screen will go completely dark again. Any idea why my MacBook is doing this and if it's something that needs to be fixed? Thanks!

Disable Sleep, it’s unnecessary on later Macs, all pain, no gain. To disable, set your Energy Saver settings to as shown:

Separately, avoid manual sleep, use screen lock instead or let the display switch off/auto-lock on timer. For long or overnight absences, shut.
