Mail closes all the time and states "Mail Quit Unexpectedly" and a large coded page appears. You have to click on OK or Reopen. Yet it keeps happening in a circle. Hardly able to use Mail now.

Have you shut the computer down and rebooted more than once since you upgraded the macOS..(?)

Quit mail.app relaunch hold the Shift key for a clean boot of the app and compare your results.

I am also having problems with Mail. It can take 40+ minutes to open and use. The shift key when opening seems to resolve that.

Mail will not allow me to add images to email, though I was able to load one (1) image (1200 x 1200 pixels) to one email. Otherwise, the email just says "uploading", but never uploads, not even after many hours! Even after using the above shift option, images will still not load, whether inserting or drag & dropping.

I figured out a temporary work-around while Apple fixes mail regarding loading images into outgoing email. Mail would not allow me to insert of drag/drop images into an outgoing email. They would never load!

Open an image in Preview, then copy the image and paste it into an email. That seems to work for now.

Sorry, the messages is "Downloading" (not uploading)

Many fonts in incoming emails are not recognized. They just show up as ??????? (but in boxes). I have to click forward or reply, then change the font to be able to read them.
