Mac Calendar filled with duplicate entries after update to Ventura 13.4 I updated my iMac to Ventura 13.4, after which my calendar is completely screwed up. Every day looks more or less like the screen shot I included here. It has taken an entry from another day and duplicated it many times over for today's date. This same thing is repeated for every day, every week. The calendar is unusable. I restarted again but that didn't change anything. What do I do now?

Ventura Calendar Duplicates Currently running Ventura 13.0.1 on a MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2019. Right after I upgraded to Ventura last week, I noticed that I have hundreds of duplicate entries in my Calendar. Ex: Every day is now Pearl Harbor day and also my brother-in-law's birthday. I stopped syncing with my iPhone because I didn't want the calendar there to be corrupted. One entry here suggested to restart in Safe Mode because it attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions. I did that and the calendar in safe mode had all of the duplicates. So I rebooted normally and still had same problem. Before the upgrade to Ventura, Calendar was fine. After Ventura, Calendar is corrupted. Nothing else changed, so I think it has to be something that Ventura did. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Ventura Duplicate calendar After updating to Ventura (13.1) everything was fine, then yesterday I had to restart my iMac and noticed that all my email accounts had disappeared. So I signed back into my iCloud email account in the mail app and all my emails & folders downloaded from iCloud and everything looked fine. Then I looked at my calendar. Every entry was duplicated. In fact in the Calendar sidebar I now have 2 iCloud entries each with the same list of calendars under them. For the purposes of explaining my dilemma I will now call these "iCloud" and "Wrong" "iCloud" entries are correct, they reflect the entries on my iPhone, iPad and the iCloud webpage itself. If I add an entry on one of these 3 it replicates across all 4 devices. "Wrong" calendar entries only appear on the iMac. I cannot update the "iCloud" calendar on the iMac. If I right click on "Wrong" or the "iCloud" calendar and follow the get info trail I end up at the same place : the internet account information in System Setting for my iCloud account. If I toggle the Calendar switch there to off, the "iCloud" calendar disappears from my iMac. So how do I get rid of the "Wrong" Calendar, and bring back an "iCloud" calendar I can update on my iMac? Any ideas?

Start with this of M1 or M2 Mac...

Start up a Mac with Apple silicon in safe mode

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > Shut Down.

After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds.

Press and hold the power button on your Mac until the startup options window appears showing available startup disks and Options.

Select a startup disk.

Press and hold the Shift key, click Continue in Safe Mode, then release the Shift key.

To leave safe mode, restart your Mac normally, without pressing and holding any keys during startup.

Start with this if IntelMac...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
