HomeKit automations

Since the latest iPhone software update, my automations no longer work through HomeKit. I have reset all Apple TVs and upgraded them to the latest software. I have also completely deleted everything from HomeKit and re-put it in with no luck. All other apps and lights and connected devices are up-to-date. has this been acknowledged by Apple as a problem as I have seen a ton of posts about it elsewhere and secondly, if it has, are they addressing it?

Same here. At first I thought it had something to do with GeoFencing-enabled rules, but even after removing the GeoFencing, my "Good Morning" automation won't run. So I tried a number of things, of which these DNF:

  1. enable/disable the automation
  2. add/remove geofencing
  3. add/remove automatic turn off
  4. change the trigger (time in my case)
  5. check my homepods 2018, homepods mini and apple TV on the same iOS 16 release

I have had temporary (!) success by removing the automation and creating it anew. I have a lot of devices, so it's not a sustainable modus operandi, but it did seem to help for a few weeks. And because yesterday Good Morning failed again to run, I decided to see what others are trying. Looking forward to more suggestions. But please, don't suggest to reset the home app. :)
