iOS16 calendar bug - multiple event invitations / events with locations / unknown invitation status

Whenever I open an calendar event that I’ve created with multiple invitees all the acknowledged responses changes to “no response” (i.e. grey question mark) within seconds immediately during watching the event details.

For about a millisecond I'm able to see the green checkmarks until they switches back to the grey question mark.

It also happens even if they have previously responded.

At the same time the event invitation is sent out again to all invitees.

I just created two different eventy types (first without location and second with location) and it turns out it only happens for events added with a location.

This bug is reproducible with iOS 16.1 and occured since iOS 16.

Is there any known bug confirmed?

It sounds like you've covered some good troubleshooting steps and have been keeping iOS up to date. If you haven't yet, go ahead and try restarting your iPhone and test to see if setting up a fresh event, with location, has the same results when attendees accept an invitation: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
