How can I fix my software update on my settings so I can open my whatsapp account

iPhone 6s, iOS 11

Whatsapp requires at least iOS 12 or later version and, from your product list, your iPhone seems to be still running iOS 11.

Update it, as per these instructions:--> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch – Apple Support
