IMAC 5K 27 inch late 2015 screen randomly shuts off every 30 miniutes

Hello!

When I'm multitasking and have various apps open like Spotify photoshop & browser my IMAC will randomly turn back for a few seconds and turn back on. I have 16Gigs RAM installed with a fusion HD. I was going to replace the fusion drive and replace with a 1TB SSD. Would anyone know why this issue is occurring or know of any solution that would be extremely helpful?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

There are a few things to consider on the settings side,

1) are you using a Hot Corner to Sleep Display.

2) try disabling Computer Sleep and Screen Saver.

3) try unchecking the Spaces boxes in Mission Control.

Sadly on the hardware side, there is no test that can isolate intermittent issues with the GPU or Display Backlight components.

If the problem gets worse, then your best bet is to make a service appointment with your local Apple Store or AASP.
