How do I get sidebar selections in Finder Preferences for Downloads, movies, music, and pictures selection no longer work since upgrading to Monterey 12.6. Why?

In your screen shot, Movies, Music and Pictures are not enabled.
You can try booting into Safe Mode, then restart normally. That occasionally clears up glitches.
If nothing is listed under Favorites, hover the cursor to the right and click on ">".
Thank you for the fast reply. When I click Downloads (as above), Movies, Music, and/or Pictures - they do not populate in Favorites or the SideBar. This only started happening after I upgraded to Monterey 12.6. Not sure why they will no longer populate under Fvorites
