After the ios 16 update, I noticed on my iphone 11 pro that the 2x cam or the more I zoomed in the photo becomes very blurry. I think this is because of the macro feature. I hope there is a way to toggle on and off the macro in the zoom cameras because it is really frustrating that I do not have a decent zoom photo which is not blurry.

I have an iPhone 11, and after I upgraded to iOS 16.0.3 I couldn’t believe how blurry my pictures became and I unfortunately found out while taking pics at a wedding. This now poor performance by the camera can be clearly recognised in slightly dim areas, inside a room where there is little natural lighting and in the night it’s definitely more visible weather in 1x or a zoom mode.
I am now checking if iOS 16.1 will fix this issue.
By the way it’s the same performance for portrait mode and video. I won’t even bother checking panoramic or slow mo.

Does this happen in other camera modes such as portrait and time lapse? We want to see if this is widespread or specific to one mode or not. Additionally, if you tap on the area you are trying to focus on, does anything refocus or no?
