AirPods Pro 2 case will randomly make a sound

So my Airpods Pro 2 case will randomly make some sort of sound. And no, it is obviously not the chime it makes when it starts to charge. It sounds like some sort of alert, I'm not sure. My case is closed and it's also fully charged and I want it to stop, what could the noise indicate?

Just bought my AirPod Pro 2 and they are doing the same. Any fix yet?

Hi airp0ds,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

It sounds like you may be describing separation alerts. This article will provide more information: Get separation alerts if you leave your AirPods behind.

Here's how you can check to see if the alerts are turned on:

"Turn on separation alerts on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Find My app, tap Devices, then tap the name of your AirPods.
  2. Below Notifications, tap Notify When Left Behind.
  3. Turn on Notify When Left Behind, then follow the onscreen directions.
  4. To add a trusted location, choose a suggested location, or tap New Location, select a location on the map, then tap Done.
  5. Tap Done."

Let us know more details if that doesn't explain it.

Have a fantastic day!
