Can't update apple watch series 3

I can't update my apple watch series 3 to watchOS to 8.7.1 because everytime it just says that it couldn't verify the update since I am not connected to the internet. I reseted my watch to see if it would fix it but still doesn't work. I am using an Iphone 11 updated to IOS 16.0.3. Please help

watchos11.0.1 downloading to iPhone issue I've been trying to update my Apple Watch for days with no luck. After I updated to ios18 on my iPhone I realized my Apple Watch kept asking for an update. Each time I'd try to update the watch it would say fail. Now it says I need to update the Apple Watch software to WatchOS11.0.1 and I'm unable to do that, it keeps pausing and says when I have internet it will continue. But it never does.

Same. Tried on two different phones (11 pro max & 11)same result (unable to verify b/c not connected to internet). I’ve reset the watch as well, unpaired, etc…. I’m stuck with what looks like a function unpaired watch, it’s not like it’s “bricked.”
