Music on Carplay iOS 16.1

I cannot play music with Carplay on iOS 16.1 connected with a wire. The Carplay system works, the maps, the different apps, but not the music. Is there any solutions?

Apple CarPlay opens Amazon Music and plays same song each time connecting. Same question that was asked a while ago, but the answer does not work for me. I am running the latest version of iOS on iphone, 16.1.2. Apple CarPlay software on Honda is up to date. However, Apple Car Play opens Amazon Music and plays same song when I connect. Amazon Music app is a competitor to Apple Music, of course. Does Apple CarPlay not work well with Amazon Music app?

Apple Carplay will not play music after iOs 16.6 update Everything works on Apple Carplay since the update, except my music playing. I can even choose songs, playlists, etc. except, when I press play button, it appears to be in play mode, but the song timer does not move and there is no sound. No other functions of CarPlay are affected. I have removed my phone from the car and car from the phone and re-paired twice, removed all other cars from my phone, hard started phone and BMW connect, and I still have the same problem. I have a BMW 440ci and a 13 ProMax running iOs 16.6. Please help, so frustrating!

Apple did not release iOS 16.1 officially yet, so we can't test that at this time.
