I can’t “Update Apple ID Settings” on my Apple TV

I’m trying to play Apple Arcade games on my Apple TV. However, my Apple ID apparently needs to be updated on my Apple TV to use its services. So when I attempt to do so in Settings, it prompts me to use my iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. But the thing is, it requires a operating system of iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later, which none of my other linked devices are compatible with. Help?
