New phone set up
My new iPhone 14 Pro had a glitch and I was given another new phone. I didn’t have time to set it up at the store and don’t have my old phone. How do I set it up?

Do I need to erase all content and settings before I restore from the back-up? The person at the store started the process but I didn’t have time for it to finish. My Apple ID was entered and I thought that once I got home, it would just do it’s thing but my apps are not loaded.
