How do I stop the statistics that I enter from turning into dates?
How do I stop the statistics that I enter from turning into dates? I'm trying to keep records like 12-4-1 and it will turn it into 12/4/2001

You have two options:
A: Format the cell as TEXT, then Numbers will not "try to help you" by changing it in date
B: Just write '12-4-1 then Numbers knows that you want a Text.
