iPhone Doesn't Notify Me of a Call

My phone does not notify me when someone calls, even if I am playing on my phone. Is this a setting that I need to change? I have checked that Do Not Disturb is off, and haptics are on in ring and silent mode, but sometimes I look over at the last second, and my phone will have a silent call on the screen. I have also noticed that the Phone notification pops up, saying that I missed a call, and I cannot get FaceTime to send me any notifications either. I have this problem with my iPhone SE and 13, and I think it is something I am doing wrong since my friend's iPhones notify them when someone calls.

Hello MiahQ,

From what you describe, it sounds like you may have Silence Unknown Callers enabled. If so, try turning off this feature to see if the calls come through.

To verify your settings for Silence Unknown Callers, go to: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support.

Another feature you can check, is to make sure the contacts or phone numbers haven't been blocked. You look at Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support to learn more about this feature.
