can I upgrade my hard drive?

I am new to Mac - and running out of space on my hard drive, can this be upgraded?

On Apple Silicon Macs it cannot be upgraded. You can buy an external drive and move files and data over to it, to release space on the internal storage of the Mac.

Upgrading hard drive I need to get a new hard drive for my mac as i need more room to be able to have a partitioned hard drive. My current hard drive is storage is 121 gigabyte and i really need to increase this without spending on a laptop.

Can I change the hard drive of my Mac to increase the storage? My Mac air has low GB. I want to increase it. Is this possible?
