Apple CarPlay not working on iPhone 12

Hi there, I have a Suzuki Vitara 2022. When I first purchased the car apple CarPlay worked fine. Then just randomly stopped working. I've now bought an apple cable and it still isn't working, when the phone plugs in the 'allow' notification appears and then disappears within a few seconds and you can't select 'allow'. I've gone through multiple forums and followed all of the steps to get it working but nothing seems to work........has anyone had the same issue as its driving me nuts.
