font issue with Notes app on Windows

When I open Notes on my Windows 10 PC, the number 5 displays incorrectly.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hello j9lemmon,

It may help to try accessing iCloud Notes on the PC with a different web browser, to help rule out issues with the current one being used.

Additionally, it may help to see if it occurs in a newly created Admin user. We were able to help locate the following support page from Microsoft for steps on that process: Add or remove accounts on your PC

This particular step can help with ruling out items in the existing account from causing the issue.

Thanks, Eric_G1.

I signed into iCloud using the Microsoft Edge browser instead of Chrome. I typed a # 5 and got the same issue.

I'm just going to switch to an Apple computer. I know that will fix it, along with lots of other advantages.

Actually, using a different browser appears to have fixed the issue!

When I went back to iCloud on Chrome, the number 5 displayed correctly!

And then I returned to Edge, refreshed and the 5 displayed correctly there too.

This approach also helped me fix another issue with iCloud in Windows 10:

The capital B would not bold in Chrome, but I made the B bold in Edge and when I returned to iCloud in Chrome, all the capital Bs were bold.

So I imagine that any future font issue I have, I'll do similar steps.
