Ultra Depth App - any way to configure reset lag after ascent

Did several shore dives over the last several days and used my new Ultra as a dive watch. Works really well while underwater, depth, temp, max depth all super consistent with my dive computer and gauges. Unfortunately as you approach the surface and check for the dive exit it resets and if you go down again dive shallow toward the exit the App starts a "new dive" and you can't see the data for the main dive until you finally exit and look at "last dive". Seems there should be a way to configure and say the dive truly ended a minute or two after you exited instead of immediately after getting to 1 m. But I can't see any configurable settings?

Not an issue for boat dives where you come up and that is it. But for shore diving the Depth App is not optimal without some configurability.
