Need to cancel AppleCare for my iPhone

I'm needing to cancel my apple care plan on my phone and have it refunded to the card used

Follow the steps in the support document you posted from. It explains exactly what you need to do. Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support
