I recently updated my macbook pro and now I'm unable to open FCP - it says it needs to be updates. When I got to update, I get this message: "Final Cut Pro cannot be updated because it was refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID." HELP?
Thank Luis! I believe I had two apple IDs (back in the day I either forgot the password to one and had to create another; or accidentally created two I can't recall. I've had some issues creep up because of it over time but I'm not sure how to resolve this one! I definitely purchased FCP myself but it was a long time ago and very well could have been with the old ID.
Are you sure you are logged in with the correct Apple ID? If you are, then you will have to contact App Store support directly.
