OS 12.6 corrupted external hard drive

hi guys, I have couple of external hard drives,

one day I found my OS is not able to sleep or turn the display off,

and two hard drives are missing,

at first I thought it might a connection problem so I tried to reconnect the cables but the same.

so I tried to update my OS to 12.6 now.

But unfortunately, the hard drives are still missing and then I tried first aid through the Disk Utility app.

The hard drives are corrupted from the result.

And then I tried to update the OS again, and the display then will turn off if I am away.

But whenever I log in again, the Wacome Intuous 4 do not work ( this only happens after the mac has slept. so i need to restart the mac everytime)

And today one more hard drive is corrupted suddenly.

All the external hard drives are placed safely without any crashes, all the cables are connecting well.

I'm not sure if is it my Mac problem.

As all the corrupted hard drives now are in different brands, start using them in different years.

The capacity of the hard drives are different too.

I'm so helpless now and not sure what to do next to ensure all my data are safe.

My mac is 27inch, Retina 5K, 2019.

in Mac OS 12.6

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

If the External Drive(s) were not Properly Dis-mounted , as in appearing in Disk Utilities but Not on Desktop ?

The this may have lead to a Corruption of the External Drive(s)

It may require -->>

Erase and reformat a storage device in Disk Utility on Mac to revive the Drives

Yes, I can see it in Disk Utilities.

for the latest destroyed one, I didn't unmount and just restarted the mac...

but when i restarted, another drive is connected just one is corrupted.

And the previous destroyed 4 drives, i think some I have unmount before shut down.

Most important is its suddenly killed the drive, is it an iMac problem or OS?

As I don't want to format it, it have important datas.. one 5 of the destroyed hard drives are mirror back up of another one... :(
