Have an SE cellular, I’m not sure when this started, I’m not able to receive calls while on cellular/WiFi nor I’m I able to send or receive texts. I can however receive calls. I’ve checked all my settings and can’t figure this out. Works fine when connected to the iPhone. Watch and iPhone are on the most current OS versions. Any thoughts on this. TIA
But I’m also not able to make or receive calls or texts via the messages app when on WiFi, this doesn’t sound like a cell provider issue, also I can make calls while on cellular just can’t receive receive them. The watch is as working as expected on Saturday, this issue was noticed on Monday.
You can always unpair the watch and set it up again. I find while it's not fun, it's also not too difficult and usually fixes unusual issues like you're having.
Sounds like something your cellular provider needs to fix. Contact them.

I've had to do it. It's honestly not that bad to do.
After getting off the phone with Apple Support I had to contact AT&T, they did some magic, tried to provision, them had to delete and re-add the number, I believe. But its working fine now.
I'm glad it's been sorted and things are working as they should.
Ps: As my original reply to you suggested, it's almost always a carrier issue!
