Using the Apple Store how do I get the confirm slide button to work on the iPhone 13? The Apop store requires me to "Confirm with Side Button" however the slide button is hidden to the left and says double click to install but takes me back to the start-up when I try to slide it to the left.

What do you mean by the side button is hidden? Does the button no longer work on the side of your device? If the button is stuck or no longer responds, then you'd have to get the device repaired.

In the meantime you can turn off Face ID verification for purchases until you're able to get the button repaired. Just navigate to Settings > Face ID & Passcode, then under the "Use Face ID For" section, turn off the iTunes & App Store option. This will disable the Face ID verification for purchases so now when you attempt to purchase/download something in the iTunes or App Store instead of having to press the button on the side of the device to verify with Face ID, you'll just need to type in your Apple ID password to complete the transaction.
