iPad keyboard

I'm sure there is an easy fix to this, but I don't know what it is. My keyboard is now popping up in the middle of my screen, instead of at the bottom. How do I move it back to the bottom, please?

Can’t find how to stop on-screen keyboard from popping up, after reset of iPad Pro While running thru debug steps with Apple Support when my pointer went dead, we may have changed some settings that I don’t remember. (In the end the whole problem was simply a dirty connection between iPad and Magic KB!) Since a whole reset in the debug attempt, the on-screen keyboard keeps coming up blocking half my screen. I rarely ever need the on-screen keyboard and have gone thru every setting I can think of to turn it off, but it persists. Anyone know how to turn it off? Tks.

Tap and hold on the right hand lower most key on keyboard then tap Return to Bottom.
