Not sure if it's related to me starting a trial of Apple Music, but now when I'm playing songs I get an annoying beep a few seconds after a new track starts playing. I've searched Music preferences, and notification settings for Music, but there doesn't seem to be any options relating to sound effects. Is there any way to disable this?

We understand you are hearing a beep from an unknown source when playing Apple Music on your MacBook Pro. Let's try and isolate this by starting up in safe mode and test. Not sure if it's anything I did, but it seems to have gone away now. It was making the same beep browsing Apple Music / iTunes store but that's gone too.
