If I change the primary email of my Apple ID will the existing aliases continue to receive email?
Currently using an @icloud.com address as the primary; will be moving to third party email or purchasing a custom domain.

Your aliases email accounts are linked to your iCloud account, not the primary email address. As long as keep your original iCloud account your email account will not be affected.
