NEW! The file couldn't be opened because it isnt in the correct format. LOGIC PRO X

Hi. It says that the file may be corrupted, truncated or in an unexpected format. I think it might be in the wrong format, because I saved it on my external harddisk afterwards. Maybe the problem is that it is formatted as ExFat and not apple, is there anyone who know how to change the format, how to get my project back to apple format? Or any advice how to fix this. I thought I had an earlier backup file on my desktop, but it's gone and I cant find it, so thats not an option....

It's very frustrating... I really hope someone has some experience on this.

I probably can't help you except to restore the files from a backup.

However, it is important to know that working on an ExFat drive formatted with Logic can cause file corruption. ExFat, or the FAT family in general, is a useful format for sharing files among different operating systems. However, remember to work only on the preferred drive format, whether it is macOS or Windows.
