How do I sync my iPhone and iPad?

On each phone go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud and turn on the sync switches for the items you want to sync.

For mail, contacts and calendars make sure both devices are set up with the same email provider(s). Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts on both devices and make sure the settings are the same.
