Having trouble uploading my photos from my iPhone. Hasn't synced since 2021.

Can anyone help me? I need to upload photos from my iPhone. Nothing working.

iPhone (iOS 18.1) photos won't import to macOS Sequoia (15.1) Photos from my iPhone won't import to my MacBook. I'm running out of storage on my iPhone and it's getting annoying that it's not importing the photos. They load on the screen under my iPhone, but as soon as press the button to import all new, it doesn't do anything. Is Apple doing this so that people will subscribe more to their iCloud storage and expand to a bigger plan? Is anyone else having a similar issue? Apple "Genius" can you please provide the answer to fix this issue?
