Iphone 12 16.0.2 update will not delete text messages
How do I delete text messages that are stuck? I have tried everything from various apple sources. This only started since the most recent update.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We suggest making sure there is space in the Recently Deleted folder. To check, follow the steps here:
- At the top of the Messages conversation, tap
, then do one of the following:
- Tap Edit, then tap Show Recently Deleted.
- Tap Filters, then tap Recently Deleted.
From there you can select messages to delete, or delete them all. After doing so, go back to the stuck messages, and see if your issue is resolved. More info on deleting and recovering messages is found in the Apple Support article:
