Transfer Daily Cash balance in Apple Card to Apple Cash

Hello,

None of the questions in the forum was answering this question, I am hoping someone could help me out.

1. Daily Cash received by opening up Apple Card BEFORE setting up Apple Cash
2. Finished setting up Apple Cash
3. Daily Cash balance did not automatically transferred to Apple Cash
All the forums talk about earning daily cash through using apple card, and how it would automatically transfer to apple cash but my daily cash is already earned before setting up apple cash

Question:

I am trying to transfer my daily cash balance in Apple Card to Apple Cash, so I could ultimately transfer to my bank. What should I do?
I don't have any balance left on the Apple Card, I'm trying to cash out - not spend more and apply the daily cash to make payments

My understanding is that cash back earned before having an Apple Cash card set up will be applied as a statement credit to your account. But, you may want to contact support:

Open Wallet

Select Apple Card

Tap the three dots for card details

Message, or call

NO the "apple daily cash" is not applied as a statement credit.

I have the same question as the poster.

I didn't know about the Apple Cash product when I got the Apple Card, and when I did learn about ("oh, it's like Venmo!" "It's like PayPal!"), didn't think I needed it (because I have Venmo and PayPal).

But now I have "daily cash" sitting around and can see no way too apply it to my Apple Card balance. Created Apple Cash. Daily cash did not transfer. A screen shot on MacRumors (https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/use-apple-cash-to-pay-off-apple-card/) makes it look like there should be a toggle switch to apply Apple Cash to Apple Card payments, but I don't have that toggle. And I guess it doesn't matter, because I haven't gotten the money to transfer into Apple Cash.

It really could be WAY simpler. Directly applying credit earned to credit balance due would be pretty intuitive.

Having to install another system to transfer in and then transfer back is dumb.
