My phone doesn’t say recently deleted how do I find deleted messages
I’m trying to recover deleted messages. My phone under messages , under edit doesn’t say recently deleted .

That might mean that you deleted those messages before iOS 16 was installed on your unidentified iPhone model.
Should be this case, there is nothing that can be recovered.
