App Store quit unexpectedly

I bought my iMac a couple of months ago and installed all of the apps I needed from the App Store, now when I go to the App Store it won't open at all, it just gives me the option to reopen, report or ignore, but if I press reopen the error message just keeps reappearing.

Restart the computer about 1x per week. Also, for your issue please restart the computer in Safe Mode per the direction in the link below and then restart it normally.


Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support


Finally, if you have any third party antivirus, cleaning, security, VPN, or ANY other third party maintenance apps, please uninstall them per their developers instructions. This could be the cause of your problem if any of these are installed!


By the way, when posting please be specific and tell us exactly which iMac you own including the model year and version of Mac OS.
