Cloud music library wont turn off

Recently wiped my iPhone 12 and reset it to factory settings because my Photos library wasn't working properly. However now when I try to Sync music from my MacBook Air but when looking at the music section of the iPhone in Finder it tells me my Phone is using Cloud Music Library and that You can play and download songs on all your devices. To sync music from this Mac, turn off Cloud Music Library. But I do not have Cloud music library turned on non my iPhone or any other devices. Any ideas how to resolve this so I can Sync music from my MacBook?

Hello Scott Ronan,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with syncing your music with your Mac. If the setting is already off, try restarting your Mac. This simple step resolves a multitude of issues: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

"Restart your Mac

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Restart.
  • If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in.”"

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
