Hi,
The search function in mail never seems to be able to find the mails I need.
When I search on the webpage of gmail I can immediately find the mails I want.
I don't understand the problem.
I have already tried the following hints:

any ideas ?

Has the user ( you ) attempted to " Rebuild " the mail boxes.
Depending on how may mailboxes and number of e-mails it needs to Re-Index - it cloud take some time, like hours or days.
While we are here - the latest stable version of Monterey is version 12.6 - if not already installed.

mail search function does not work
