spotlight/indexing not working
I have a new MacBook Air and the have the lastest operating system but the indexing isn't working - spotlight isn't working so I can't find any documents. Not sure how to fix this

If everything is brand new, then it should be working. Of course, if it is brand new, then how many documents would it find?
Can you describe exactly what you are doing, and what you are seeing? And then describe how that differs from what you expect to see? Please go into an absurd level of detail. We don't know what you have on your computer.
