Apple Watch Series 8 Wristband

Hello, I’ve received my Series 8 Watch, but I noticed the box for the wristband says it’s for the Series 7. I paid over $800 for this watch and I’m curious why I was sent a wristband from the last series? I’ve included pics. Did this happen to anyone else? Thank you so much in advance!!!

because the bands are identical

all bands work for 38m and 40m, 41m watches

all bands work for 42m and 44m, 45m watches

across all models and all generations
